Our house has been recently renovated and is surrounded by a good sized mixed garden with flower beds, vegetables and fruit trees, we also have three bee hives which are normally no trouble. On the ground floor of the house there is one bedroom, an office and spacious kitchen. The lounge/dining room is large and there is a wood burning stove that we use to heat the house in the winter. We have wooden and tiled floors and carpets upstairs where there are three more bedrooms and two bathrooms. In addition, we also have a basement flat that na also be used as sleeping accommodation

About the location

Famed for its medieval city centre, Christmas market and the EU institutions Strasbourg is a great place for a holiday any time of the year. For us, the best features are the many bike paths, and transport links to the beauty spots in Alsace and a twenty minute bike ride to Germany.
It is a 15 minute bus and tram journey to Strasbourg centre, shops and chemists nearby, countryside and city walks from the house. Excellent train, flight and road connections and locally there is a great cycle path network.
Nearby, there are excellent swimming pools and lakes where you can also swim
