Traditional Village house - Tuscany

Our home is a 3 storey traditional tuscan village house. It is approximately 400 years old and full of character, charm and traditional features. It comprises a downstairs toilet, kitchen with log burner, separate dining area and lounge. Second floor has two double bedrooms, bathroom with shower and an additional seating area. The third double bedroom is situated on the 3rd floor.

The house is accessed by approximately 50 steps so is not suitable for those who have mobility difficulties.

It has beautiful views from all rooms and has two outside terraces with lovely views across the hillside and neighbouring villages. Both terraces have seating areas enabling plenty of space for all fresco dining.

Parking is on the road beneath the house.

About the location

Tempagnano is pretty little village set in the hills above Lucca. It has a small village store but is located approx 1km from a much larger village of Valdottavo which has all usual village shops, cash point, two bars and two restaurants and daily bus service.

Within a short driving distance is also access to lots of restaurants and a beautiful outdoor public swimming pool at Borgo A Mozzano.

The beautiful historical city of Lucca is a 20 minute drive away and under an hours drive away are a selection of beaches, Pisa, Barga and the Garfagnana national park. Florence, Lucca, Pisa, are also easy to travel to by train.

The beautiful Cinque Tera is also approximately an hours drive away.
