Semidetached new build - Didcot

Great Western Park (GWP) is a high-quality development of 3,300 new homes that straddles the Didcot/Harwell boundary.

Building work started in 2011 and so far more than 1,000 homes have been occupied.

There is already a good sense of community and a very active residents` association. In 2015 we are opening the first community centre as well as a youth shelter and two play areas.

In September 2015 UTC Oxfordshire, which specialises in life sciences, physical sciences and engineering opened its doors at a new site on Greenwood Way for 600 boys and girls aged 14 to 19. Two primary schools and a secondary school will also be located on GWP.

The road running through GWP is named after Sir Frank Williams CBE, Team Principal of Williams F1 in recognition the contribution that he has made to the local area since forming Williams Grand Prix Engineering at an empty industrial unit in 1977, just a short distance away.

More detailed information about the development can be seen at www.greatwesternpark.co.uk.
