In a small purpose built block the flat has been refurbished recently and decorated to a high standard. It has one bedroom, kitchen, dining area and lounge area. The TV is a smart Tv, and there is wi-fi.
There is a shared lawn area, enclosed by hedge and walls. There is an allocated space in the car-park. In the distance, the Coniston fells are an inspiring view, but its just as convenient to walk from the door. Lots of choices, including the lake shore , Orrest Head view point, much loved by Alfred Wainwright, the beech trees of Sheriffs Wood or the unspoilt School Knott tarnr.
About the location
Windermere is a small town in the World Heritage site, of the Lake District. All year round there is lots to do.
The village centre is full of life, but you wouldn`t know it when sitting outside our peaceful flat! Public transport is convenient for those travelling without a car. A guide to all our favourite places, activities and attractions, well and less well known to visitors is provided.
