So Much to Enjoy!

Ideally located on the Southern end of the beautiful Gold Coast our home is an air-conditioned, three-bedroom, double-storey, split-level house in a quiet, family-friendly, neighbourhood.

Available for exchange is a guest bedroom with ensuite, and a guest room that has access to a spacious family bathroom. Both bedrooms have comfortable, seldom used, Queen size beds in the primary residence on upper levels accessed via external stairs. Though we don’t notice the daily activity of using the stairs it may not be suitable for people with mobility concerns. (Below is an occupied Granny Flat.) Our home has a well-appointed and comfortable open plan lounge, dining, and kitchen, easy-to-use laundry facilities, WIFI and Smart TV. We have a small BBQ on the front deck and a Chiminea on the back deck.

Our home backs onto a nature reserve and we enjoy hearing and seeing many different native birds like Kookaburras, Black Cockatoos, Sulphur Crested Cockatoos, and Corellas. We feed Butcher birds, Magpies and Currawongs on the front deck so don’t be surprised to see a line-up of expectant faces. The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is only six (6) minutes away so it’s not uncommon to see flocks of brightly coloured Rosellas flying past.

About the location

Brilliantly positioned a five (5) minute drive to patrolled beaches, including easy access to the Gold Coast Oceanway beach path, we are also only a ten (10) minute drive to the Gold Coast Airport. It is convenient and affordable to fly out from the Gold Coast Airport for mini-breaks to a variety of domestic destinations.

The Queensland / New South Wales border, being only fifteen (15) minutes South, means that you can enjoy exploring the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, including popular destinations such as Byron Bay, with as much ease as South East Queensland.

There are amazing coastal activities on our doorstep including surfing, jet skiing, whale watching, etc. but as you explore around us you can also enjoy quaint Aussie towns, rural spaces, farms, and rainforests that will delight the senses and offer peace and tranquillity.

A trip to Brisbane will take about an hour and a half (1.5hr) by car. If you didn’t want to drive to Brissie the railway station is only twenty (20) minutes away and it will take you to the city without the fun of city parking.

If you are interested in high-energy activities, we are about forty (40) minutes drive from the world-famous Theme Parks, the glitter strip, and The Star casino in Surfers Paradise.

There is no shortage of activities on offer nearby as we are located within a thirty (30) minute drive to amazing shopping centers, Art Galleries, and movie theatres. The Gold Coast is known as a wonderful foodie destination and our café culture is extensive with something for every taste and budget around almost every corner.
