Impressive Villa near the “Costa dei Trabocchi” on Abruzzo’s Adriatic Coast

Our Italian home has 3 double bedrooms and sleeps 6 people. It is just inland, in a rural position between the town of Torino di Sangro and the Adriatic coast. It is only 5 to 10 minutes by car to a choice of 4 beaches, 2 sand and 2 pebbles.

The house is surrounded on all sides by its own land of around 2 acres, gradually planted since the house was built in 2016 to create gardens. There are views of the sea, hills and mountains of Abruzzo from the open and covered terraces, 80sq meters around the first floor as well as the ground floor front and back terracing.

Ground Floor: entrance hall, kitchen-dining room, cloakroom, utility room with washing machine and dish-washer, 2 bedrooms -- 1 double and 1 twin-- bathroom with shower, bidet, w.c. and basin.

First Floor: Master bedroom super king, ensuite bathroom with shower, bidet, w.c. and basin, a spacious upstairs sitting room with French doors to the upper terrace.

The master bedroom and sitting room on the first floor have air conditioning. All 3 bedrooms and the kitchen-dining room have ceiling fans. All the windows and the French doors have fly-screens and shutters.

Outside we have garden furniture, sun loungers and a quality inflatable hot tub.

About the location

The Trabocchi Coast is beautiful and popular with Italians. It has many bars, restaurants and gelaterias that are good value and there are festas, fireworks music and concerts through the Summer. All ages enjoy the balmy evenings.

Lots of activities --cycling or walking along the coastal Via Verde which runs the length of the coast (local bike hire). an aquapark, wine tasting tours and visiting historical sites and towns such as Vasto, Lanciano and the ancient abbey of San Giovanni in Venere at Fossacesia.

Inland are the Maiella Mountains and national park with old villages and towns, waterfalls and gorges. Abruzzo has the largest areas of national park in Italy.

Transport links and services are excellent. By car you are 10 minutes from the motorway. Pescara airport (Ryanair flies from Stansted) is 30 minutes. Rome and Naples are 3 hours. Train stations are 10 minutes.
Many supermarkets., nearest 2 minutes by car next to the Wine Cantina /shop.
