10 Minutes Walk to City Hall & Seaside Greenway

We have a bright well laid out 70 sq meter 1 bedroom flat (750 sq feet ). There is a large magnolia and cherry tree that surrounds our flat. They also gives us a fair bit of privacy in a busy city.

Please note we are on the 3rd floor of a 3 FLOOR WALK UP. No elevator. (circa 1950 building). The flat faces northwest so you look at the mountains, West Vancouver and downtown from the living room.

We have a very well equipped kitchen as I am an avid cook and baker. Sadly we do not have a dishwasher though.

NO PET CARE NEEDED. We have 4 free flying budgies who go visit their friends at a local bird sanctuary while we are away. We would be delighted to take care of your dog or cat during our stay. We have successfully done so in the past.

The flat can accommodate 3 persons since we have an ottoman-bed(BoConcept) that can be set up in the living room if needed. We sleep on a Hypnos (Wendover) queen size mattress ( 293 cm x 152 cm ). It is not a foam bed so it is good if you are naturally a hot sleeper.

About the location

We live on the west side of Vancouver. The area is referred to as Fairview Slopes. Townhouses and condos make up the landscape. Predominately a neighborhood that consists of urban professionals and medical staff. City Hall and Vancouver General Hospital are the anchors in this neighborhood.

10 minute walk west takes you to South Granville where Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, William & Sonoma resides along with coffee shops, bakeries and Meinhardt Fine Foods. Walk 10 minutes east of us and you are at Broadway/City Hall skytrain Station, Whole Foods, Starbucks, London Drugs and other daily amenities.

You can take Broadway /City Hall skytrain to downtown in 6 minutes. Or walk across the street and take the no 17 bus and be there in 10 minutes.
