Meadow Cottage
Meadow Cottage is our family home on the edge of the Cotswolds. It`s probably a bit too big for the two of us to rattle about in now so we are looking to explore other areas of the UK. Our home is fairly rural with far reaching views. It`s a perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds or nearby Oxford or for cycling or walking or boating on the River Thames.
About the location
Downton Abbey was filmed in Bampton which is just a mile away from our home. Bampton also has a beautiful French restaurant and pubs. The Trout Inn on Tadpole Bridge is less than a mile away with food and drink and riverside dining. There are walks aplenty around us and a nature reserve. The Thames footpath is less than a kilometre away. Oxford is close by as is Burford and the rest of the Cotswolds.
