Laid back cottage in quirky Frome
Peaceful cottage, built in 1820s for home weavers, each with its own allotment area, tucked away from roads on the edge of town. Easy parking on the road, with access up a footpath. On 3 floors, so maybe not the best if stairs are an issue. Long gardens front and back with gorgeous sunsets. There's a strong community network here, so friendly neighbours will be on hand for local knowledge. Lotte the resident cat is also friendly and very laid back. King size bed on 2nd floor, small double bed on 1st floor. Depending on time of year, there will be veggies for you to enjoy.
About the location
I had to say 'urban' as nothing else really describes my home, but it feels very much like living in a village within a 10 minute walk into the town. Frome is a market town in Somerset, 30 minutes from Bath, an hour from Bristol, within easy reach of Glastonbury, Wells, Longleat, The Newt, and lots of gorgeous countryside. Good bus & train connections but a car would be handy. Frome is a lively and creative town, with lots of historic listed buildings, with large independent markets (food/farmers/vintage/crafts) and great places for food and drink.
