House in Bristol
Spacious 1930`s semi-detached house with lovely city views, big garden, on street parking, and close to the UK`s longest independent shopping street, museums, and parks including the Downs.
We have two double bedrooms, two single rooms, and one room with two single beds which is ideal for younger visitors. Our two large reception rooms are comfortable, spacious, and light.
We have a WC on each floor, with a shower room in the spacious attic, a bath on the first floor and toilet on the ground floor.
There is a large wildlife friendly garden which attracts foxes, hedgehogs, dragon flies, newts and lots of birds. We have bikes in the garage you can borrow if you let us know in advance. We can accommodate well behaved pets that stay downstairs.
About the location
Bishopston and Redland are much loved urban areas in Bristol.
Gloucester Road joins Bishop Road and has restaurants, book shops, boutiques, charity shops, independent shops, and pubs. In addition our closest section boasts multiple art shops, coffee shops. Glos Rd is the longest independent shopping street in the UK.
This is a close enough to reach all of the cultural delights of Bristol yet is quiet and private so a good nights sleep is ensured.
Bristol has galleries, museums, theatre and festivals all worthy of a visit. See Arnolfiini, M-Shed, Centre space, Bristol Museum, St Pauls Carnival, Kite festival, Balloon Fiesta, Harbour festival etc
For green spaces Horfield common, St Andrews Park and The Downs are all very easy to access on foot.
Leigh Woods, Ashton Court, and Stoke Park are a slightly further distance.
Buses go regularly at the end of our road into town.
Wales, Bath and the Southwest are easily accessed.
