Modern new build eco-home in the Cotswold National Landscape

We built our home on the edge of the small village of Randwick to take advantage of the wonderful views over the Cotswold National Landscape. The 2700 sqft house is A energy rated with solar panels, battery and air recovery system and will have a heat pump fitted in Spring 2025. It has four bedrooms (two with ensuite); family bathroom; separate downstairs loo; study and yoga studio which could accommodate a double blow up bed to make a 5th bedroom. It has a 0.5acre garden with several terraces to capture the sun and enjoy outdoor eating courtesy of high quality gas and charcoal bbqs. The house is equipped with high end appliances and accessed by a private gated driveway with an electric car charging point, which guests are free to use on low cost overnight tariffs. Two Cube Electric bikes are available as well as 2 men’s road bikes. A car exchange may be feasible subject to insurance.

About the location

Randwick village is ideally located with numerous walks from the house including access to the Cotswold Way which is only 500m away. There are two fantastic pubs in the village and is only a 25 minute walk from bohemian Stroud with supermarkets and one of the best Saturday markets in the uk as well as a daily indoor market with numerous world cuisine eateries, butcher and a fishmonger.
The prime Cotswold tourist sites are all available in a 30-40min drive from the house. Bristol airport is only 50mins away.
