Timber house

Built 4 years ago, our house is a very practical, modern and cosy house. It is very bright and has underfloor heating with a heat pump. Lovely views over the fields.
We have 2 bedrooms upstairs with double beds and an upstairs toilet. Downstairs in the snug/office, we have a double futon. There is a covered patio area at the back of the house. We have a small vegetable patch and a flower garden. There is also a small pond at the back of the house and a long drive for off-street parking.

About the location

The village of Hillend is very quiet with a lovely local pub. Shops are only 5 minutes drive from our house, or 15 minutes walk.
We are literally located 4 minutes from the train station that goes to Edinburgh, along the Fife coast line and beyond. Trains are very frequent (every 1/2 hour).
Our location is ideal if you want to explore Edinburgh, the Kingdom of Fife, Falkland palace, the Kelpies, East Neuk coastal villages, walk the coastal path, Perth, etc.
