This is a recently contemporary eco new build upside down house. It has a large volumetric kitchen, dining and living on the first floor with a huge sliding window that allows panoramic views of the sea. There is a large kitchen island and a fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, hot water tap, air fryer, blender, microwave. We love to cook and entertain in the house. Our dining table seats 10 comfortably. Off the living space is a large roof deck with a large table and sofa with stairs leading to the private garden. Off the kitchen is a WC and study area with a zoom room to allow for private study. There is a TV / Snug room at the top of the house with a TV and comfy sofa as well as an additional mezzanine work space.

At the ground floor is a generous entrance hallway with expansive shoe and coat storage. A large utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer and drying rack. There is a shower room with a huge shower, a rail for drying off wetsuits, swimwear and access to the garden. The family bathroom has a shower and bath. There are two children rooms with king beds and direct access to the garden. The guest bedroom has a king bed and bunk bed and has a sea view and direct access to the garden. The master suite has a large dressing room, ensuite and direct access to the garden. Large windows and light are key! The house sleeps 10 comfortably over 4 bedrooms.

About the location

Whitstable is the perfect place renowned for its famous oysters and many award winning restaurants, working harbour and cute fisherman cottages. We are a 15mins from Canterbury famous for its Cathedral and just down the coast from Margate which has the turner contemporary, many independent restaurants and art venues. Central London is just over 1hr away by train and easily accessible for day trips.

We will provide a full comprehensive digital guide with what to do in the local area and how the house works. We are happy to swap cars. We have an electric car charging point and parking for 2 cars outside the house.

The private garden has a deck with an egg BBQ and large shed for bike storage. Behind this is a shared lawn with trampoline, football net and in the summer tennis net where our children play often with our friends and neighbours children. At the back of the garden is a path that leads directly to the beach which is 1min walk away. The beach is pebbled and changes with the tide. We often swim and paddleboard when the tide is in and it's shallow so it's very safe for younger children.
