Berkhamsted is only a 30-minute train ride from central London (10 min walk to station), yet a short 10-minute walk takes you into tranquil woodlands, countryside, or along a peaceful canal path. The area is a haven for walkers and cyclists, with plenty of scenic routes to explore so close to the Chilterns & Ashridge.
On top of that, being located on the high street means you're never far from a selection of over 10 pubs, over 10 coffee shops, over 20 restaurants, a wide range of high street stores, and independent boutiques, along with lively market days. The Rex cinema is a personal favourite on our doorstep - well worth a visit!
