Detached modern house in Sheringham

Set on a small estate on top of the hill in Sheringham, the house has three double bedrooms (two twins and a double) an ensuite and a family bathroom, both with excellent showers. On the landing a large airing cupboard is great for drying towels after a trip to the sea. Downstairs there is a large and bright living/dining room, a play room with a comfortable sofa bed to sleep two extra guests, a conservatory, cloakroom and well equipped kitchen, with fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Outside an enclosed garden with a small lawn and a patio backs onto school playing fields. In the front there is parking for one car on the drive and one on the gravelled area. Its a 20 minute walk down the hill to the busy town and the beach.

About the location

Sheringham is a thriving busy town with amusement arcades, ice cream parlours, plenty of excellent restaurants and fish and chip shops, local pubs and cocktail bars - it caters well to families and couples. The beach is sandy at lower tides and pebbles at high tide. Further afield its a great walk along the beach to Cromer (about 5 miles, the train is a quicker 8 minute journey!) with its pier and shops, and the train also goes to Norwich which makes for an excellent day trip to see the Cathedral, churches, the market and Jarrolds department store. Steam trains travel to Holt and are a great way to step back in time. Special events in Sheringham include the August Carnival week, the September 1940's weekend and the Railway Beer Festival. Lots to do!
