Stone cottage with sea and mountain view

Our house is an old stone house with a modern extension. It sits approximately 65 meters above sea level with good views of the sound and the mountains beyond.

The house is removed from the small single track road by a large wildlife garden.

There are two small bedrooms upstairs, a kitchen with a wood stove, a sitting room with a piano, and a large bright living room on the ground floor level. The main bathroom has a bath and a shower, and there is also a small shower room.

About the location

There are many local walks from the house - up the hill, to the waterfalls, down to the shore (about 20 minutes). The road is small and quiet, with very little traffic. Cycling is quite hard, but possible. E-bikes are for hire in the village. It is essential to have a car, as the shop and restaurants in Portree (the main town on the Island) are 8 km away and there`s no public transport.

We have an abundance of wildlife around us, mainly deer, seals, otters, bats, owls, eagles and many more.
