The Pines

The Pines is a beautiful Victorian house set in a secluded large walled garden. The house has just undergone a major renovation. The highlight is a stunning 7 x 10m open plan kitchen dining room with steps down to the huge enclosed garden. We have a fully stocked pantry which you are welcome to access; the kitchen is ideal for keen cooks! Downstairs there is also a Drawing Room with stunning grand piano, Library, Games Room with full size pool table and gym equipment, bathroom with accessible shower and laundry room. Upstairs the Master Suite has an en suite with shower and Japanese bath, there are 4 further double bedrooms and a family bathroom.

The large south facing garden has an art studio, table tennis, basketball, seating and dining areas, croquet lawn and a full kitchen garden. We are only a minute in the car from a glorious sandy beach or a pleasant 10 or 15 minutes walk.

About the location

Ayr is in the heart of `Burns Country`; with the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum just two miles from the house. We have some of the world`s finest golf courses on our doorstep. There is a Tennis Court next door which you will be able to access. The beach is just minutes away (we walk our dog there most days) and there are also wonderful walks from the door. Both Dumfries House and Culzean Castle, two of Scotland`s most loved visitor attractions, are just 25 minutes drive from Ayr. Glasgow is 45 minutes by car or an easy 50 minutes on the train. The train station is 10 minutes walk from the house. Ayr has several fantastic restaurants and a wonderful art deco cinema. Whether you want history, culture, the great outdoors, the sea or just some magnificent golf, we have it all here!
