Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire

We have a beautiful family home in the centre of a village. It can sleep 6 in the main house but there is a further twin bedroom (and bathroom) available if needed in a property next door that we used to run as a holiday let. It now has a gym and games room with pool table and table tennis table.
Our house is spread over 3 floors - there is a double and 2 twin rooms on the 1st floor and a further double on the 2nd floor. There are 2 bathrooms on the 1st floor, both with baths and showers.The garden is 3/4 of an acre with lovely views across fields. We have a hot tub and lovely seating area over looking the garden. There is a small orchard with football goals.
There is parking for 1 car on our drive way and then plenty of road side parking opposite our house. We have an electric car charging port.

About the location

Our house is an old vicarage built around 1850. It is a very peaceful location situated next to a 12th Century castle and 10th Century Church. It is an an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the village is situated at 800 ft overlooking the Wye Valley.
It is a few miles from the Royal Forest of Dean which is full of walking and cycling trails. This area offers many activities like kayaking, climbing, caving, mountain biking, Go Ape, Segway and many more.
The village has a pub, shop, playing fields and cafe. There are many beautiful walks you can do from our door step including the Offa's Dyke path and the Wye Valley Walk.
Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Cardiff & Cheltenham are all within an hours drive away.
